Dr. Victoria Vesna This seminar explores broader ideas of networking -- from biological to social systems -- through developing creative projects that raise awareness about our multifaceted human condition. Students are asked to look for connections that are not immediately apparent -- between social, cultural, economic and political issues, and to articulate the threads they expose. We will start by analyzing our immediate environment and attempt to make connections within our own group, the department, the campus, UC system and beyond. Class
